Why take Driving Training?

Over the years, there has been a substantial increase of traffic on our roads and highways. There are more cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. Even the technology has changed, more fuel efficient cars, air bags, anti-lock brakes and all-wheel drive. With these changes, we need to upgrade our skills and improve the way we drive.

A professional driving instructor can teach you the proper techniques and skills to be a safe, defensive driver. Our instructors are specially trained to observe and detect poor habits early and correct them. A professional instructor can teach you everything you need to know to do it right, the first time, every time.

The Vancouver Island Safety Council offers driver training for beginners in our automatic, dual control car.

We can do either single or package lessons and cover all aspects from vehicle control skills to freeway driving. If you are a beginner or preparing for a road test we can create a custom training package just for you.
