With a look through the phone book or a quick search on the internet, you will find there are several Motorcycle Training programs available to you in the Victoria area. As with any investment, customers should do their research to find the program that best suits their training needs and requirements.
We have listed several Motorcycle Training programs below in order to provide you with some basic information of what each program is currently offering their students.
Even if you decide not to enroll with the Vancouver Island Safety Council, we strongly encourage you to invest in some form of professional rider training. |

The Vancouver Island Safety Council offers several training advantages that you may not receive from other training programs:
- Dedicated Novice and Traffic training programs
- Two full days of traffic riding (16 hours) in our Traffic Skills Course
- Reserved ICBC Road Test slots for our students
- ICBC MSA included as part of the Novice Skills Course
- No cost to course graduates to use our traffic bikes for your ICBC Road Test!
- 'Women's only' Novice courses available
- Large Novice practical training areas (Camosun College or Western Speedway)
- Wide range of sizes and styles of traffic bikes to choose from for our Traffic Skills Course
- Over 20 ICBC certified instructors are employed by VISC
- Over 35 years of teaching motorcyclists how to ride safely
 Sign up for both Novice & Traffic courses during registration and you save $55.00 over the seperate course costs
